Short bio

I am an associate professor (university professor) in the Condensed Matter Theory Division (in the structure of the Institute of Spintronics and Quantum Information) of the Faculty of Physics of the Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Poznań (Poland). I graduated in physics (M.Sc.) in 2009 and defended dissertation (Ph.D.) in theoretical physics in 2014 (both at Faculty of Physics of AMU). Next, I worked in the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) in Warsaw and in the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics of PAS in Kraków. I was a visiting scientist at SISSA in Trieste (Italy) and CFEL-DESY in Hamburg (Germany). Finally, I got my higher postdotoral degree (habilitation, D. Sc.) in 2022 (at Faculty of Physics of AMU). I am interested in theoretical physics, mainly in the field of strongly correlated systems (including cold gases on optical lattices) and superconductivity as well as in ab initio modeling of real materials (electron and phonon properties). I was the head and principal investigator of several projects financed by National Science Centre (Poland) and Polish Agency for Scientific Exchange as well as a recipient of a few scholarships of Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Poland). I am a member of the Polish Physical Society, the Institute of Physics (IoP, UK), and the American Physical Society. I published more than fifty publication in international scientific journals such as Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B, Physical Review A, Scientific Reports, New Journal of Physics, Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, Physica A, Superconductor Science and Technology, Acta Physica Polonica A, etc.
